A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and personal finance journalist, Dolores has also appeared on Channel 7, CBS4, Channel 5 and UPN38 in Boston. She is a Pulitzer Prize finalist in public service and George Polk Award winner from her previous career at the Boston Globe. And she was named one of the Top 10 Financial Professionals by readers of Women's Business Boston. An accomplished public speaker with a thriving financial planning and investment advisory practice, Dolores is also an Enrolled Agent, a federally licensed practitioner with special competence in tax matters as defined by the Internal Revenue Service, and one of only about 1,600 dually credentialed CFP®s and EAs nationwide as reported by the CFP® Board of Standards. She is a member of The Boston Club, an organization of senior executive and professional women, and the Asian Women's Connection, a network of professional Asian women. She also serves as treasurer of the Barnard Club of Boston and the New England chapter of the Asian American Journalists Association. Dolores and her husband, Dan, are authors of two hiking guides to Acadia National Park. They enjoy hiking, backpacking, jogging and cross-country skiing together. They have been inducted into the Appalachian Mountain Club's New England Four Thousand Footer Club and the New England Hundred Highest Club, in recognition of their hiking the region's tallest peaks.
